Plastic Donuts

Let’s face it.
When it comes to the subject of Christian giving, there are two categories of people. Those who have discovered the joy of giving…and everyone else, simply avoiding the topic.
For reasons I explain in my book, I found myself trying to solve the riddles about biblical giving, including, how much should a Christian give?
I read what seemed like every book or message there was on the topic. (I have boxes of them in my attic.) But it always felt like the same old talk about giving or generosity.
Something was missing.
A decade into my personal giving journey, I had my experience with the plastic donut. A lightbulb went on. And a very different giving message emerged.
Plastic Donuts is different.

It’s the reason pastors and ministry leaders have been buying and sharing the book with their folks.
I worked hard to make it super readable – a quick reader can clear it in one hour.
But it’s not a soft read. The message penetrates the heart, and presents four clarifying truths from my deep-dive “nerd” study of the roughly 2,000 gift-mentions in the Bible.
Also, this isn’t a “weaponized” book to compel people to empty their pockets and bless your building campaign.
What will happen is people will see giving in a very different light. They will be challenged. They will also find freedom with the giving message. This challenge-freedom experience is one of the most surprising benefits of this message.
